銀的變色(tarnish)

貴重金屬中以銀最容易氧化而變色(tarnish)，銀又較便宜，為了魚與熊掌皆可兼得，一般就在銀製品上施行電鍍或其他塗裝以避免銀的氧化變色，如此不但喪失貴重銀的一些特性，而且鍍層或塗裝斑落時將更喪失美觀。 我們採用純銀製作，若有變色只要加溫或刷擦即可恢復原狀。 反之，925銀變色後就無法靠加溫恢復原狀。 我們進一步的使用更貴重的金或鈀之添加使銀製品不易變色，而同使不喪失銀的特性，如下圖所示，利用金與鈀的添加，此銀杏葉子將可維持5至10年以上的不變色，若有變色也只要加溫或刷擦即可恢復原狀。

3 Leaves of Taiwan Wild Grape

The leaves have natural variations that make each one unique. To show the unique, as shown in the following pictures, three leaves of Taiwan Wild Grape were freshly picked and then turned into their corresponding silver sculptures with stem. You can see the fine veins and connecting stem, proving that I can make silver leaves from any real leaf.
